Quote by material as well as volume
A pile of bricks can be much heavier than a similarly sized pile of timber. List the materials and give rough dimensions, bag counts or photographs. Mention soil, ceramics, roofing materials and plasterboard individually. Clear information lets the team assess loading and disposal before arriving.
Keep plasterboard and unknown materials separate
Do not mix plasterboard into rubble bags. Identify it in the enquiry so its collection can be discussed separately. If you discover a material that could contain asbestos, stop disturbing it and seek appropriate advice; an ordinary rubble collection is not an asbestos-removal service.
Fit the collection around your project
Tell us when the waste will be ready, whether work will still be taking place and where the vehicle can load. If you are booking for a builder or site manager, include the on-site contact. Ask what paperwork will accompany a trade-waste collection when you arrange the job.
Questions about building waste removal
Can you remove rubble from a home renovation?
Yes. Rubble, bricks, blocks and hardcore are listed services. Send photos, the approximate amount and access details.
Can plasterboard go in with rubble?
Keep it separate and tell us about it when booking. It needs a different disposal route from ordinary mixed rubble.
Do you hire skips?
The service described here is waste collection. We do not advertise skip hire; compare the options in our guide if you are deciding how to clear a project.
