Make space without losing what matters
Sort items into clear keep and remove groups before sending photographs. Tools, spare keys, documents and useful fittings can easily be mixed in with unwanted boxes. We need a clear brief about what should leave the property, especially if someone else is arranging the job for you.
Tell us about difficult access
For a loft, describe the hatch, ladder or stairs and the items involved. For a garden shed, include gate widths, steps and how far the contents are from parking. Restricted access affects how a job can be carried out, so discuss it before moving anything heavy.
Contents and structures are different jobs
Removing stored items is different from dismantling a shed or outbuilding. If a structure also needs to go, describe its materials and condition separately so the team can assess the request. Do not disturb unknown roofing sheets or suspected asbestos to prepare for a clearance.
Questions about garage, loft & shed clearance
Can you clear a garage without clearing the whole house?
Yes. A garage, loft or shed contents clearance can be requested on its own.
Can you take old paint or chemicals from my garage?
Ask before booking. Keep containers separate and describe their contents; these are not ordinary mixed household waste.
Does shed clearance include demolition?
Do not assume it does. Tell us separately if you want the shed structure assessed as well as its contents.
