A whole property or just the rooms you need
Tell us which rooms are involved, whether there are items in a loft, garage or shed, and whether furniture or appliances are included. A room-by-room description helps us understand the job without guessing from the size of the house. If you only need one room cleared, say so: a full property clearance is not the only option.
Keep important belongings separate
Before collection, put documents, photographs, jewellery, keys and anything you want to keep somewhere clearly separate. Label furniture that must stay. If you are organising the clearance for someone else, make sure you have their permission and agree the contents to be removed before booking.
Access makes a difference
Let us know about stairs, lifts, narrow doors and the distance from the property to the loading point. Send a picture of larger furniture as well as the route out. We will discuss the scope and collection arrangements with you before a booking is confirmed.
Questions about house clearance
How much does a house clearance cost in Cornwall?
The amount and type of contents, loading access and disposal requirements all affect the quote. Empire prices the actual job; send photos and your postcode for a free quote rather than relying on a generic price per bedroom.
Can I book a partial house clearance?
Yes. Tell us which rooms or items need clearing and which belongings must remain.
Do I need to be at the property?
Discuss access and who will authorise removal when you book. Do not assume an unattended collection is agreed until the team confirms it.
